Zomnotho Community Development in patnership with KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development implimenting a programme called Men Championing Change in Marburg Sport Ground This Programme is a workshop series designed to help promote sexual health and prevent HIV among boys and men.The sessions and methodology draw strongly from the stepping stones training package which addresses questions of gender, sexuality ,HIV/ AIDS,gender violence communication and relationship skills.The approach of the Men Championing Change programme is the same as the Stepping Stones programme which recognises that,while knowledge is important in order to make changes in our lives we need more than knowledge. MCC is based on participatory learning approaches as we all know that we learn better when we have knowledge affirmed and are able to discuss and decide things for ourselves, rather than just recieving lectures.
