The Phara to Paradise Recovery NPO hosted a drug awareness programme in Masinenge ward 03 of the Ray Nkonyeni municipality, with Zomnotho Community Development NPO playing a key role to encourage parents to take initiative in raising their children in a healthy environment and setting a good example .
Various government agencies attended the program, including the Department of Health, which provided on-site medical services through mobile clinics. These clinics offered TB ,HIV testing and helped people get back on their medication as part of the 1.1 million strategy.
Other participating agencies included the Department of Social Development, Child Welfare, Department of Home Affairs, Nkonyeni Municipality, and Ugu District Disaster Management.
