Zomnotho Community Development Centre

Zomnotho Community Development together with KwaZulu-Natal Department of Social Development hosted five sessions in Umzumbe Municipality Ward 18 Esihlonyaneni with parents and caregivers to strengthen family communication and address harmful gender norms.

This five-day programme equipped parents, grandparents, and other caregivers with practical skills to raise teenagers in a healthy, confident, and responsible way. It focused on helping families communicate openly about sensitive topics such as relationships, sexuality, body changes, peer pressure, and personal development.

The initiative aims to build stronger families through open dialogue, understanding, and positive guidance at home and in the community.
